Seantero dunia heboh memperbincangkan skandal salah laku pemimpin # 1 Malaysia

Ada kenyataan pemimpin korup di Malaysia yang berbunyi,'You help me ; I will help you!'

Setiap perdana menteri Malaysia kadangkala celupar mulut sehingga berani memperlekehkan hukum hakam Allahu Ta'ala.

Belum seluruh Malaysia! Apa nasib negara kita selepas ini?

Tanjong Agas, Pekan, Pahang ~ Mahaguru58's Travelogue Pt.2. More photos from my trip.

Most of the villagers houses which used to be made of wooden planks and zinc roofed are slowly being renovated to brick walled houses and the marshy surroundings being stabilized with soil and sand.
As you can see in the photo above, those who are better off today have even upgraded their once dilapidated wooden houses to bungalows with better roofing as evidenced by the scene above.

Many can afford to buy Malaysian made cars such as depicted in the photo here. Alhamdulillah! Praise be to Allah!
There were quite a number of goats wandering about rummaging through the trash heap and bleating their way across the village road in search of food.

It was fun hearing them bleat as they pleased whilst scampering away whenever a motorcycle or car approached.
Soon, we will no longer see the dilapidated wooden houses at Tanjong Agas anymore as each villager who can afford to will upgrade and renovate his or her house according to their means.

In a way, you can say that development is taking place at this rural area. In fact, the village is even connected to the internet courtesy of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development which has enabled free WiFi for the area.

A notice board announcing the free WiFi connection to the internet provided for the Tanjong Agas villagers by the Ministry for Rural and Regional Development.
The current Minister is the highly controversial YB Dato Seri Haji Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who is known for his out of the norm approaches to help elevate the condition of the Malay Muslims and the general Malaysian population.

He was quite vocal in asking the greedy traders especially those from the Chinese community to bring down prices of goods here in Malaysia for refusing to do so even after the Government had reduced the petrol and diesel fuel prices.
He received quite a lot of support for his firm stand despite the witch hunt to pressure the PM to sack him spearheaded by DAP, the main Chinese majority Opposition party here.

There is a bridge connecting the inner part of the Tanjong Agas village to the main road. There was quite a heavy traffic plying on the bridge as villagers drove their cars and rode motorcycles and bicycles across incessantly.
The bridge connecting villagers to the Tanjong Agas main road.
Safety seems not important to these boys as they ride a motorcycle at Tanjong Agas.
Guess, they learn to do so from their elders seen above riding motorcycles without crash helmets as well.
Girls too ride without donning crash helmets along the village road. So, don't be surprised if there are serious injuries or even fatalities if an accident was to take place here as a result of these villagers nonchalant attitude when riding motorcycles.
Amongst the bridge road users was this girl riding her bicycle and a goat as they passed each other.
The girl glancing at the bleating goat as it made its way seeking for something to eat at the village area.
An idyllic scene before me as the little Malay girl in her tudung @ hijab cycled away as the bleating goat trotted on the road. Scenes that you can only see at rural areas like Tanjong Agas to this day.
There was a bus bearing the name 'RAHMAT ALAM' plying the road at the Tanjong Agas village. Those without their own mode of transportation would surely be taking this bus to the town.

'Rahmat Alam' means 'Natural Grace' in Malay. It surely lives up to its name as it provides a valuable service to the rural folk to travel at an affordable cost.
A postcard picture scenery at this coastal village where the coconut trees serve as a natural backdrop at the riverbank where small sampans @ boats belonging to the village fishermen are tied up.
It was this photographer's delight to come across beautiful scenes like this and I snapped away under the blistering sun as it was midday and the sun was really quite scorching.
It was quite a contrast of sorts to see dilapidated village houses like this yet having the Astro satellite TV dish fixed to the wooden structure.

Rural they may be but they are not out of touch with what's going on in the world.
With the advent of the smartphone, Tanjong Agas Malay villagers like this man here keep in touch with the latest news and views care of the free wireless internet connection provided by the Malaysian Government.
This is the village grocery store where villagers frequent to buy their needs. One stop center for the latest new, gossips and whatnot. :P
Also the main hangout area for the villagers goats which constantly scavenge for leftovers and whatever is edible from amongst the trash.

If we city dwellers have our motorcars parked nearby, here at Tanjong Agas, some villagers have their sampans just outside by the riverbank.

Maybe the villagers need to tidy up their place in order to promote better hygiene and health for themselves instead of letting trash decompose right out side their homes as in the photo here.
Sampans parked at the riverbank, ready to be propelled out to sea in seeking their living from fishing at the South China Sea.

More to come in Part 3, the last part of this Tanjong Agas Mahaguru58's travelogue. Thanks for reading.

Hope you enjoyed this post.

Tanjong Agas, Pekan, Pahang ~ Mahaguru58 Travelogue, May 2017 Pt.1

Recently I was on a road trip with my wife from our 2nd home in Kuantan to the village of Tanjong Agas which is located at the tip of the land projecting out to the South China Sea off the Sultanate of Pahang's royal town of Pekan.

It has been more than 8 years since we last visited the place. A lot of changes have taken place since then and we saw development change the way villagers over there live.

I was actually looking forward to seeing an Orang Asli hut which I saw situated on a river bank close to the sea back then at Tanjong Agas.

I was a bit sad to see that the hut was no more. The Orang Asli family whom I saw back then must have moved into more permanent housing.

One scene I remember was the mudflat shoreline riddled with what I believe to be the entrances to the nests of a shrimp like crustacean which is related to the lobster species.

The muddy mounds which I believe to be the entrances to the nests of the Mantis Shrimp or 'Udang Ketak' [photo above] as we Malaysians call them.

I remember writing about Tanjong Agas way back in May 2009 but sad to now see just blank spaces in my blog article where I had posted some photos of the place. The image hosting service which I had used before seems not to be in service anymore thus the missing images.
Nevertheless, now with Google's improved image hosting enabled here in Blogger itself, I am happy to share with you the visuals that I managed to capture during my visit there recently.

Not everyone gets the opportunity to travel and visit far off places like this. I for one am lucky to be married to my darling who is from the East Coast State of Pahang. Hence the chance to explore places like this.

Tanjong Agas has river tributaries like this leading to the South China Sea. I saw many little boats like the above or 'sampan' as they are referred to here in Malaysia being tied to simple wooden jetties or just embedded poles by the riverbank.

There was this picturesque house on the riverbank located at the junction of two river tributaries. Looked very unique.

It has this unique looking roof unlike the many traditional Malay houses which we see in the kampongs @ Malay villages. Quite appealing to a photographer like me.

Will be updating this post later.

Starting all over again ~ Fresh start to the rest of your life.

Not all marriages last forever. Reason being that not everyone marries out of love. Some marry because they were forced out of some circumstances which they found themselves in.

Some marry out of pity. Some marry because they were indebted to the family of the husband or the wife. Some were duped into marrying on false promises.

Staying married but not in love:

Couples who live together but not in love do so for the sake of their children if they have them. Each would swallow whatever heartache and misery they were going through in a loveless forced union just for the children's interests.

If such a union was to be symbolised, you could equate it to a leaking boat caught in a doldrum waiting for a sudden tempest to break loose out there in the dark stormy ocean of marital chaos.

Reason for Depression:

Either way you are going down into the deep, dark depths of doom and gloom of the broken human heart. Depression and despair can overcome even the brightest of personalities and the smartest individuals that ever lived.

Unless.. just unless the couple breaking apart have it in them to stay afloat, rising from the gloomy depths of heartbreaking day to day conflicts and confrontations that eventually does take place between the two that finally drives the wedge through the union rendering it apart!

Not everyone has it in them to survive a breakup, separation and eventual divorce.

Unless one has some stash of reserve spirit to be used in times of the most devastating calamities such as the moment one has no choice but to pull the plug, a divorce can knock the wind out of you and that dear brothers and sisters has in many cases driven quite a number of persons to take their own life.

Driven to suicide:

Commit that irreversible act of ending their existence here on Earth by choice. End it all. To hell with it. They lost hope. So be it.

Depending on the weakness or strength of conviction of the person's sense of awareness of his or her religious beliefs, taking their own life has been the choice of the disillusioned few.

Luckily for those of us who are Muslims, Islam strongly forbids suicide and anyone who does so will go straight to hell. No if's or but's about it.

Surah An Nisa Chapter 4 Verse 29, Al Quran Al Karim:

And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.

I know it is easy for me to say so because maybe I am a tough cookie and quite weathered over the years having gone through the 'School of Hard Knocks' and in a way graduated from the 'University of Life'.

Not everyone has it in him or herself to be able to weather the storms that life throws at you. Even those whom we all thought were quite successful in their careers and life at times have taken the easy way out by ending their life.

Example:

A case in point is the suicide of actor comedian superstar Robin Williams. He had everything that anyone can wish for but he wasn't happy in his life.

He was the world's best comedian and we all enjoyed his amazing ability to liven up every show, event or movie that he starred in. Little did anyone know how miserable he was inside until he was found after having choked himself to death!

Way out:

Whether you like it or not, the only way out is Divorce.

You get a chance to start afresh albeit you might have to give up all your hard-earned wealth or title rights to jointly acquired properties or real estate.

You may even lose your rights to your children [if they are under-aged] because the Divorce courts always grants the mother custodial rights over you.

Except in special cases where the children might be in danger IF the mother is a drug addict, convicted felon, psychiatric patient, mentally disturbed, etcetera.

Thus, it does require you to give up on what you own and maybe your rights to your own flesh and blood ~ your children but for the sake of you to get a chance to live in peace and remain sane, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet so to speak and get out of that hellish marriage in order to be able to be free once again.
There is no other way. Divorce is at times better than to be bogged down in a loveless marriage full of strife and mayhem.

Yes, you lose your children but the fact remains that they will forever be your own flesh and blood is irrefutable. See to it that their welfare is taken care of by surrendering whatever earthly material @ sustenance that you can afford to provide for their upkeep and maintenance is given to them.

It is true that they will miss out on your being there to love and care for them. It is true that they will not have you to comfort them and give them your fatherly support unlike their friends whose parents were not separated and were living in peace together in matrimony.

No one likes to be forced to leave their children but if it is the only way out for the father to remain sane and alive, then that is the sacrifice that they have to do.

The hurt is felt by both the father and the children but there is no other way to escape the situation where quarrels and fights take place almost daily or every other day due to the incompatibility between the unhappy couple.

Estrangement is the subsequent situation that comes into being as a result of the divorce but eventually the children will grow up and turn into adults themselves and maybe..just maybe they will have it in them to understand why their father was forced to leave them?

Nothing is more precious to a divorced parent than to have his children forgive and understand him for having to leave them but if he didn't, maybe they would have lost him forever for he might be forced to end his life and leave this life forever.

Islam forbids suicide but there have been cases where even Muslims chose to call it quits and do the unthinkable because they did not have the commonsense to end their unhappy marriage and start all over again..albeit lose their hard gained earthly material possessions and beloved children just so that they can start life all over again.

To those to whom this article might concern, do know that your father loves you forever and that he did so in order that he might get a second chance to live in peace and tranquility. He has suffered enough.

Give him a chance to spend the remaining moments of his life with a better more understanding wife than having to suffer to his last breath with someone who doesn't appreciate him despite all that he had done for the family.

He deserves that.
